there is a move to allow 16yrs olds to vote in the EU IN/OUT referendum - what do you think

A) I do not agree with introducing a change just for 1 vote - so it must be permanent or not at all

B) I do not think the major of 16 yr olds are politically educated or experienced enough to vote ( not saying all the voters are either), all the trash abour=t being able to join the forces and get married are wrong they must have parental approval for both i most of Uk (I believe scotland marry at 16 ok -Gretna Green)

They cannot stand as a candidate until 18yrs old so why should they vote for one, surely no one is going to suggest candidates age 16

No. But 16 year old MP's could be an improvement on some of the present incumbents.

Provided they've been properly educated at public schools, of course. ;-)

We'll get all the constitutional reform needed now. We may even see a government of the people, by the people and for the people. It's about time.
